„Мултиполис – Образите на града” стартира в началото 2016г., като интердисциплинарен проект с експериментален характер, събиращ заедно млади художници, хуманитаристи и музиканти с различен опит.Форматът цели да изследва София в разнообразието й от значения, образи и метафори; столицата като сцена, споделено пространство, история и архетип.
Поканата за участие в проекта беше отворена през април 2016 към младежи до 35-годишна възраст.
Участници в проекта, към „първия етап“ са: Ева Мария Иво Иванова // Ивайло Динев // Ралица Стоянова // Вълко Чобанов // Мартин Пенев // Георги Шаров // Мария Цанева и Никола Маринов.
Съвместно с менторите си д-р Димитър Божков, Леа Вайсова, д-р Илия Граматиков, Лъчезар Бояджиев, д-р Красимир Терзиев и Павел Найденов, се включиха в семинари, дискусии и теренни обиколки на София.
В процеса на работа участниците създадоха своеобразна „картография на невидимите“ –квартали, сгради, болезнени точки и общности. Локациите, в които работят участниците, включват ромския квартал „Христо Ботев”, районът на хотел „Арена ди Сердика”, Студентски град, Баня Панчарево и „Градските градинки“.
Следваща стъпка на проекта е нашата резидентна програма за чуждестранни артисти, в която се включват 5 немски артиста:

Техният фокус е намесата в публичното пространство на София, която ще се осъществи в рамките на една седмица в края на юни, 2017. Петимата участници използват различни средства като перформънс, инсталации, обекти и костюми.

“Взимайки предвид публичното пространство в българската столица, ние решихме да създадем платформата за Мултиполис, съчетаваща изкуството и човешката комуникация. Условията за живот и стратегиите за възприятие могат дабъдат дискутирани извън съответното им значение, придадено им от техния произход. Може да си прeдставим Мултиполис като нещо по-голямо, утопично и обединяващо, което може би ще стане неизбежен дискурс за нашите метрополиси в близкото бъдеще?”

"Multipolis - Images of the city" started in early 2016 as multilayered experiment that gathers young artists, humanities and musicians from different backgrounds to study urban challenges and establish joint creative projects. The format aims to explore Sofia in its diverse meanings, images and metaphors; the capital as a stage, shared space, history and archetype.
The invitation for participation in the project was opened in April 2016 to young people up to the age of 35.
At this stage Bulgarian participants in the project are:
Eva-Mariа // Ivo Ivanov // Ivaylo Dinev // Ralitsa Stoyanova // Valko Chobanov // Martin Penev // Georgi Sharov // Maria Tcaneva and Nikola Marinov.
Together with their mentors Dr. DimitarBozhkovand / Lea Vaysova from Sofia University, Dr.Iliya Gramatikov from the Music Academy, the visual artists Luchezar Boyadjiev and Dr. KrassimirTerziev and the musician Pavel Naydenov, they took part in seminars, discussions and field trips around Sofia.
In the process, the participants created a kind of "mapping of the invisible" - neighborhoods, buildings, hot spots and communities. The included locations are the Roma suburban "HristoBotev", the area of the hotel "Arena di Serdica",Student city, Cruising areas and Crystal Park.

Their focus lies on interventions in public space that will happen within one week residency at several public spaces in Sofia during the last week of June 2017. The five participating artists use various media such as performance, installations, objects, costumes and contact-drawings.
Comment:
"With the view on urban conditions in the public space of the Bulgarian capital, we are creating a crossed-art and human communication platform for Multipolis together with local artists and ourselves as visitors. Living conditions and perception strategies may be discussed without anticipating values of the respective origin. We may assume Multipolisas something larger, utopian and gender uniting which could be imminent to our metropolises in the near future?"
